I have been programming for 10 years (started really young) and making web applications for around 8 years. Recently my two passions are front end javascript and ruby on rails. I am a big fan of automation (specifically rails plugins and generators) Anything that I can do to keep me from having to write duplicate code is great, which is why I like rails.

Work Experience/Sites

1. Freewebs.com - May 2006 - June 2007
Freewebs is one of the top 250 sites (according to Alexa) While I was at Freewebs, I was one of six developers. During my time at Freewebs I developed and launched the following: Widget Video Player, Signup Process, Super Multi-Uploader, Profile/Blog/Contact Importers, and a few other things
2. Stage.FM - 2004 - 2007
Stage.FM was a side project of mine designed to give artists a place to distribute for free or sell their music online. The site has over 10k bands and over 60 days of music.
3. Bookfaced.com - 2006 - 2007
A book resale market designed around the concept of selling books to other people on your campus, credit cards could be used to purchase books from other people on your campus, and the money went into an escrow until a verification code system made sure that the book had been successfully exchanged. The seller would exchange the book for a piece of paper with a verification code on it, and the code when entered on the site would release the money from the buyer.
4. BustAName.com - 2007
Domain search tool designed to help people find domains.
5. HostSearchr.com - 2007
A tool that helps people with specific needs find web hosting.
6. WebAddress - 2007
Facebook app that lets anyone register a domain for their facebook profile, group, or event.
